Chaikin Money Flow

CMF

Sums the close location value (where the close falls within the high-low range) weighted by volume over N periods, then divides by total volume. Positive values indicate buying pressure; negative values indicate selling pressure.

Tips

CMF sustained above zero during a pullback suggests buyers are still in control and the dip may be a buying opportunity
A flip from positive to negative CMF while price is near highs is an early distribution warning
