Klinger Oscillator

KVO

Combines price trend direction, high-low range, and volume into a ‘volume force’ measurement, then applies fast and slow EMAs to produce an oscillator and signal line. Designed to identify long-term money flow while remaining sensitive to short-term swings.

Tips

Klinger crossing above its signal line during a price pullback (in an uptrend) is a high-probability accumulation signal
The Klinger is sensitive to volume spikes; a single abnormal-volume session can distort it—smooth it out by widening the fast/slow periods
