MFI

Applies an RSI-style formula to money flow (typical price multiplied by volume) instead of price alone, producing a 0–100 oscillator. Above 80 signals overbought with heavy buying; below 20 signals oversold with heavy selling.

Tips

MFI divergence from price is more significant than RSI divergence because it incorporates volume confirmation

MFI below 10 often marks panic selling and can identify high-probability mean-reversion entries in liquid markets
